Step 2: Here is some homework we would like you and your partner to review together so that we have all of your goals and desires in mind!
- What kind of birth experience do we envision?
- What concerns or fears do we each have about the birth process?
- How do we feel about medical interventions like epidurals, inductions, or C-sections?
- What role do we want chiropractic care to play in pregnancy and birth preparation?
- How important is it to us to avoid pain medications or interventions during labor?
- What do we need to feel confident and supported during labor?
- How do we plan to address and manage pain during labor?
- How do we want to work together as a team during labor?
- What will postpartum recovery look like for us, and how can we best support each other?
- Are we willing to invest in additional support, like chiropractic care, to ensure we both feel prepared and supported?
We have found that when partner have these questions dialed they are more confident in their decisions about labor and delivery which ultimately helps them make the best decisions about what to do and invest in to ensure they have the highest likelihood of achieving those birth goals and dreams!

Jolie Manza: International Yoga Instructor
My experience with Nichelle and her team at Live Loud is nothing short of amazing.
As a movement professional and someone who has sought out body work my whole life I had pretty high standards to meet when it came to being cared for and looked after with both my prenatal and postnatal needs.
Dr. Nichelle blew me away from the moment I met her and she has offered me the most helpful, achievable and progressive care imaginable.
It’s rare to find someone so knowledgable
Dr. Dede Hofer: Mother and Podiatrist
I am beyond grateful for the wonderful care I received by Drs Nichelle and Antonio.
I first met Dr Antonio when my midwife recommended LiveLoud to help flip my baby. He made me feel comfortable, answered all my questions, and successfully helped position my baby for a safe and healthy delivery!
I really appreciate the wonderful care that was taken to help me have the birth plan I wanted (especially since this was my first baby).
Dr Nichelle helped me (in so many ways) postpartum. She was an excellent listener, gave great ‘first time mom’ advice, and was able to relieve my back and hip pain.
Both Drs are knowledgeable, genuinely caring, and excel in their profession! I was nervous about my pelvic floor postpartum but with their help and guidance I was able to return to running, CrossFit, and climbing (without pain or peeing my pants while I run/lift).
Marissa Larson: Mama of 2 & Ayurvedic Practitioner
I was recommended to Nichelle at Live Loud around 30 weeks pregnant, since my baby was breech.
I can confidently say that their chiropractic care was the single most helpful tool in getting baby to be in the correct position naturally!
My birth plan was to go all natural – and did not include an ECV, and definitely did not include a c-section. I was so impressed with the knowledge that Nichelle and Antonio had on the interconnection between the strength and alignment of the mother’s body and how that affects the position of baby in the womb.
My babe flipped to the right position at 35 weeks, after a month of exercises and belly massage as prescribed by Nichelle and Antonio.
With their help, I reached my goal of delivering baby all natural at home- quite an accomplishment!
Stephanie Faul: Mama of 2
Dr. Nichelle is one of the most knowledgeable, kind, helpful, and effective providers you can see if you’re a pregnant or postpartum mama and I recommend her to everyone I know!
I was referred to Dr. Nichelle by my doula while I was pregnant with my first baby. I had a LOT of pelvic and low back pain during pregnancy, but between regular adjustments and at-home exercises, Dr. Nichelle was able to help me keep moving throughout my pregnancy.
Dr. Nichelle also provides incredible care to postpartum mama’s bodies and kept my aches and pains manageable. She in very plugged into the Boulder County community so she has amazing recommendations for various providers.
I truly cannot recommend her highly enough!
Ashleigh Willow Moskovics: Mom of 2
I started seeing Dr. Nichelle in my second trimester of pregnancy to help with the aches and pains of growing a human.
I am now almost to my due date and I know Dr. Nichelle has been a pivotal support in keeping any major discomforts away.
Dr. Nichelle has been an amazing resource in helping me build my birth and postpartum team. She knows the best professionals in the Lafayette, Louisville, and Boulder area! Overall, Dr. Nichelle has a wealth of knowledge in the pregnancy and postpartum world that is truly unmatched.
I also appreciate how family friendly Live Loud Chiropractic is. I can bring my curious and adventurous two year old with me to my appointments without worrying about juggling my appointment needs and keeping her entertained.
I trust my whole family with The Live Loud team and can’t wait to take my baby to see them all!
Janele Archibald: First Time Mama
I can’t recommend Dr. Nichelle enough!! She’s been an integral part of my prenatal and postpartum journey.
I first started seeing Nichelle at the recommendation of my midwife after finding out my baby was breech around 34 weeks pregnant.
In addition to providing care and exercises that helped baby turn, she recommended an amazing doula to support my birth.
I’ve felt extremely supported seeing Nichelle, and I look forward to my visit with her each time. She’s caring, positive, and very knowledgeable.
What an incredible resource for this community!
Krystal Hall: Mother too to 2
A decade ago, I gave birth to my firstborn and had a 4th degree episiotomy due to some complications. I was stitched up, given antibiotics and sent on my way to heal naturally.
Since having my 2 children, I have suffered from urinary incontinence any time I sneeze, laugh too hard, get startled, run or jump, which I now know is from my episiotomy with no follow up treatment/physical therapy. I always have heard that it is totally “normal” to leak urine after childbirth so I never thought much of it.
I started playing softball again and was forced to wear a diaper because thats how much I was leaking when I would run. I had been following Dr. Nichelle on social media for a couple years and she posted about it a few times. I finally decided enough was enough and made an appointment. I have been going there for a few months now and have already seen noticeable differences. I can laugh and sneeze and generally have no leakage for every day things. I am still working on the running and jumping part, but I am confident I will get there after continuing to work with Dr. Nichelle on strengthening my pelvic floor. I look forward to my visits and love getting to chat as well as continue to see progress. I am looking forward to continuing to heal and strengthen my body and pelvic floor and get back to working out and playing softball with no (or at least minimal) leakage! I am grateful for Live Loud helping me get back to the athlete in me again. The only regret I have is not reaching out sooner!
Natalie Touchberry: Mom of 2
Dr. Nichelle is amazing!
I experienced intense rib pain when I was pregnant and after a few sessions with her, my pain disappeared.
Dr. Nichelle was an integral part of my care during pregnancy and I continue to see her 8 months postpartum.
She goes above and beyond in every session with nutrition recommendations and PT exercises.
I find her thorough plan of care incredibly helpful as I continue to build back my strength and health after my first pregnancy.
Alena Prokop: First Time Mama
I am a new mom and have been seeing Dr. Nichelle for prenatal and postpartum chiropractic care as well as newborn care and I cannot recommend her enough.
She is extremely knowledgeable and amazing at what she does. She has done adjustments for me that helped get the baby in the correct position and positively impacted my health and comfort in pregnancy and she has been instrumental in my recovery postpartum, helping with healing, back pain and getting my strength back.
She also works with my newborn to address any tightness in his body and is absolutely wonderful with him.
Dr. Nichelle also knows a lot about nutrition and gave me great exercises for postpartum, nutrition and supplement advice and great tips on how to properly carry the car seat, run with a stroller etc.
On top of all that, she’s such a fun person, has great energy and is so wonderful to be around, every visit with her is truly something I look forward to. I am so grateful that Dr. Nichelle was a part of my birth team, I would recommend her to every mom/mom to be in a heartbeat!
Erin Barklow: Mom of 2
Nichelle is an absolute pro.
I went to see her weekly for prenatal care. Every visit she made my body feel amazing, especially at the end where that is very hard to do.
Because of her work on my body, my delivery was a dream. Less than three hours with no complications.
She opened up everything so that I didn’t experience back labor (like I did with my first pregnancy) and created the space and correct positioning so that my baby was set up for an easier delivery.
I cannot recommend her enough
Megan Hendrick: Mom of 2
I started seeing Dr. Nichelle a little more than halfway through my second pregnancy. Prenatal chiropractic care at Live LOUD was recommended to me by both a friend and by my doula just as good preparation for labor, but at this point I was also suffering debilitating pain from sciatica and SPD.
I was in the middle of moving, and the pain was making it impossible for me to do this, care for my toddler, and keep up with my workouts (mostly hybrid weightlifting/bodybuilding).
Now, at 32 weeks, after seeing Dr. Nichelle every two weeks for adjustments and also religiously doing her recommended home care and workout modifications.
Allie Clark: First Time Mama
I started seeing Dr. Nichelle during my third trimester and only wish I had found her sooner.
She was integral to my prenatal care and I saw her regularly through my third trimester and postpartum. I was very active during my pregnancy but as the baby grew he started putting pressure on my femoral nerve.
Dr. Nichelle knew exactly how to treat me and gave me exercises to keep me comfortable until my baby arrived.
