I did something gnarly to my lower back at the end of December and I could barely stand up straight and was in a considerable amount of pain. He was able to see me the next day and gave some initial exercises that I worked through over the weekend. By Monday I was moving much better and he continued to work with me through the month, giving progressive, functional exercises to strengthen and brace the area. Thanks to his guidance, I was able to go on my snowboarding trip to Park City last week and rode for 7 days straight with no pain at all. As it happens, I came into some elbow and shoulder pain, likely from golf and lifting. He's currently helping me through this as well, even got my first dry needling experience! Immediately after seeing dr Antonio, my pain dramatically decreased and I was given movements to help prevent that pain from returning. I continued to have chiropractic care throughout the remainder of pregnancy and believe this was a major factor in having an extremely positive labor and birth experience. After birth I participated in their postpartum program which helped me emotionally and physically. I first went to see Dr. Nichelle during my pregnancy. She showed me different ways to sit, stand and move while being pregnant. After my delivery, I continued to see Dr. Nichelle for postpartum rehab and pediatric care. She helped me start exercising and also started giving adjustments to my baby starting at 3 months old. The same day after one of the adjustments, my baby started crawling with both legs, which she hadn’t done before. Until then, she was dragging one leg behind her. The adjustment seemed to open up a restriction in her hip. I have continued with an online personal training program with Dr. Nichelle and can’t believe how strong I’m feeling. It is tailored to my own recovery and is exactly what I have needed to regain my strength and feel empowered in my body after having a baby. I can't imagine being on this journey without Dr. Nichelle. I work as an orthopedic provider, and after my chronic neck pain and limited range of motion failed to improve with PT, injections, and activity modifications/nsaids, I reached out to Dr. Antonio as a last resort. He was able to see me on short notice, and after treatment, I’d say my pain is 85% resolved. Antonio is an old family friend, and his professional work continues to reflect what I’ve always known about him and his family - caring, thoughtful, excellent provider. They came home from the NICU with terrible reflux, constipation, colic, spit up, you name it. It was awful to see them in so much pain! Dr. Antonio and Dr. Nichelle were wonderful at developing an individualized plan for my girls. They are extremely knowledgeable and made us feel at home and hopeful that there was a solution !
